Today it is a buyer’s market when it comes to selling your home, and as a seller, you need every advantage you can think of over the competition. ·         Define each space of the home. Make the purpose of each room clear. Put the toys away in the den. Take the exercise bike out of the bedroom. Move the computer, your loose paper, and files out off the dining room table.

·         Unblock the sight lines and don’t block pathways. Make it easy for potential home buyers to walk from the door to a window in the master suite or from the hallway to a living-room sofa.

·         Silence is golden and quiet is better. Creaky doors or floors will distract potential home buyers. A noisy home makes people question the integrity of what they're seeing.
