Geography/Culture/Attractions

1. Yellowstone National Park is an unforgettable experience. Lose yourself in the wonder of nature – deep canyons, stunning wildlife and steaming geysers.

2. The “Daddy of ‘em All”®, a phrase coined in 1919 when Cheyenne gained worldwide recognition for having the biggest and best rodeo in the West, is still the most fitting description of Cheyenne’s nine action-packed PRCA Rodeos.

3. 1267 feet above the Belle Fourche River. Once hidden, erosion has revealed Devils Tower. This 1347 acre park is covered with pine forests, woodlands, and grasslands. Deer, prairie dogs, and other wildlife are seen. Also known as Bears Lodge, it is a sacred site for many American Indians. President Theodore Roosevelt proclaimed Devils Tower the first national monument in 1906.

4. Alcova Lakeside Marina is located on Lake Alcova, approximately 30 miles southwest of Casper, Wyoming.  It is four miles south of Highway 220 on Lakeshore Drive, and is the only facility on Lake Alcova that is open to the public.
